The world lost a great man yesterday. Robin Williams, known for his comedic brilliance, creative energy, and generous spirit, had been battling severe depression and died of an apparent suicide. His passing reminds us that depression doesn’t always show on the outside, but the devastation it causes is painfully real.

Remember—there is help. If you’re struggling with depression or contemplating suicide, or concerned about someone in your life, please call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or visit
